  • dale from d&d says new sleds like no other!!!

i talked to dale this morning he called with prices and programs on new new 2007 arctic cat snowmobiles. his first reaction is that they ride awesome. they feel like you are apart of the sled. arctic cat is coming back out with cat cash and some good programs. if you put $500 down before april 22nd you will recieve a free spring leather jkt. plus you have your choice of up to $600 in catcash or a 3 yr warranty. the new f5 is the sabercat 80 hp motor in the new chassis. the new f6 is the old f6 motor(120 hp) the new f8 is rated at 142 hp i think and is a variation of the f7 motor so we know there is lots of work to be done on those. the f1000 is rated at 162 hp and is a new motor altogether. all the machines come with push button reverse as a standard option. they are available in black, green and orange. and are avail with 3 trim options std, snopro and the lxr which comes with electric start and adjustable seat, footwells, and windshield. on sunday march 26th from 2 until 8 at the turning stone casino you can see all the new machine and then come see me to place your order. the following weekend i think we are going to have our open house. if you place your order at our open house there will be added benefits that no other arctic cat dealer can give you if you know what i mean.
put your ass on the ice, turn left and hope for the best!!!

Snopro, don't freat on your 700 crossfire. Here's the posted #'s from AC.
              2006 700 Crossfire- 485lbs, 140HP (is probably more like 135-138)
2007 800 Crossfire- 510lbs, 142 HP (reverse is standard) (and they may be lying for Epa compliance)

The rumor I heard out of D&D is that the 2006 700 is much stronger than the new 800.

Only time will tell, but at the prices/weight/hp gain of the 2007 800 xfire snopro, I will be looking for a leftover 2006 700 xfire snopro that are likely still in crates @ the factory. Listed price of the 07 is $10,299. All you are getting at this point is a leather jacket!

25 lbs and 2 HP!! I would tend to agree. The 06 Xfire 7 is probobly a better sled. Although, I have sid there is no replacement for displacement. The more I learn about sleds, the more i am tending to dis-agree with it!!

Correct me if I am wrong BUT reverse is gear driven with a servo to switch from forward to reverse. Not spin the motor backwards...

                    Does anyone know for sure???
                    2017 Ski Doo Renegade X 1200 ORANGE

                    Perfect!

Sometimes, it is OK for things to be less than OK. We have, in our minds, an unrealistic expectation.
We think everything ought to be perfect. If it isn't, we figure we must be doing something wrong.
But we live on a planet where nothing is without fault. Nothing.... and nobody !
What counts, in the end, is not how you manage to make things right.
It's how you manage to live with the fact that some things will always be a bit wrong.

I believe you are correct. From what I read, I understand that the reverse is still mechanical, but the push button just runs the servo.

Some (NOT ALL) of the gear heads I spoke with, think that the 06 HP numbers were overstated, and that the 07 #'s are understaded (EPA), which would net a larger HP gain than based of AC's posted numbers. Guess we won't know for sure until someone dyno's these bad boys and posts the results.
