How Much Snow Did You Get ??

  • #2
Everything is white . There is no more than 4 inchs on the lawn , got 1 1/2 inchs last nite and still in the air . Weatherman says snow every day through next saturday . He has been known to be a big liar . We are still hoping to ride to the shoot-out . The town of Lyonsdale open some roads so the trip to Boonville will be much shorter and to the Shoot-out legal from here . Thats bout it we're still doin the snow dance .

                Perfect!

Sometimes, it is OK for things to be less than OK. We have, in our minds, an unrealistic expectation.
We think everything ought to be perfect. If it isn't, we figure we must be doing something wrong.
But we live on a planet where nothing is without fault. Nothing.... and nobody !
What counts, in the end, is not how you manage to make things right.
It's how you manage to live with the fact that some things will always be a bit wrong.

Measuring the snow depth with a yard stick might be possible in the next 24-36 hours..... a ruler works now ......

There is still no base TS...a few dozen passes and it will be down to dirt...that is unless you need a yard stick. I am more interested in what IS not what might be...

The roads over here are covered , but a warn set of carbides will go through that 1/4 inch , no frost so no base , i am sure there will be a lot of open water , if we get another 6 inchs it will be enough for me to ride to shoot-out . Will keep posted on conditions as they change .
