Nitro, My buddy Mike cannot make it. We will need a fourth. If it presents a problem I can pass on the trip.2017 Ski Doo Renegade X 1200 ORANGE
Perfect!
Sometimes, it is OK for things to be less than OK. We have, in our minds, an unrealistic expectation.
We think everything ought to be perfect. If it isn't, we figure we must be doing something wrong.
But we live on a planet where nothing is without fault. Nothing.... and nobody !
What counts, in the end, is not how you manage to make things right.
It's how you manage to live with the fact that some things will always be a bit wrong.

Here is the gig, we leave lower NY State early on Wednesday the 11th. Arrive at Motel Safari just after noon, check in & unload....short ride around that area for a shakedown, maybe 100-125 miles & get to bed early. Rise early, leave early on Thursday morning. 310 miles the first day due north to Roberval stopping for lunch in the town of La Tuque on our way to the Chateau Roberval, a very nice place to stay. Friday, from Roberval to LaMalbaie (northeast of Quebec City) and the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, stopping somewhere around Chicoutimi for lunch, 250+ miles. The Manoir is an off the chart place to stay, you wont be disappointed here. Saturday, LaMalbaie back down to Motel Safari, lunch near Quebec City, approx. 250 miles and a long days ride. Sunday morning we leave for home, gonna try to be home before dark.

Have done the trip many times! Great ride. We are doing it a little bit differently though. Bernard's to St. Raymond. St. Raymond to LeTape for lunch and on to Jonquiere. Jonquiere to Baie St. Paul and back to Bernard's.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! HOTEL RICHILIEU IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!!!! We planned to stay there too, but I called last night and they are under management contract negotiations and are not accepting any reservations until spring at this point. Subsequently, we are staying at hotel Baie Saint Paul. Stayed there before and not bad. Cute seaside town. Certainly not as majestic as the castle at La Malbaie but still nice. Didn't want you to find out when you got there and then have to search for a room.Proudly burning fossil fuels in vast quantities to go FAST, have FUN, and piss off tree huggin' hypocritical LIBERALS!

What kind of driving time (hours) is it from NJ to Motel Safari? Or an address and Ill check map quest. (then divide by 2 for normal driving speeds)
Trying to get this to work, I have to be back on Saturday morning for reasons beyond my control. If I can get Dave to commit Im thinking we will run up Wednesday with you. Thursday to Chateau Roberval and then split up Friday and head back Motel Safari and home.
Im trying to make this work because Feb is a mess with Business travel and the Miami boat show. NEED TO RIDE NOW
Thanks
