    Lake Effect Snow Watch
    URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
    NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BUFFALO NY
    345 PM EST WED FEB 8 2006

...ANOTHER BOUT OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW POSSIBLE...

.AN UPPER AIR DISTURBANCE SWINGING SOUTHEAST FROM JAMES BAY WILL
REINFORCE THE COLD AIR THAT HAS BEEN OVER OUR REGION FOR THE LAST
FEW DAYS. THE STEERING WINDS IN THE LOWER ATMOSPHERE WILL
STRENGTHEN AND LINE UP AGAIN TO BRING A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
LAKE EFFECT SNOWS EAST AND SOUTHEAST OF LAKE ONTARIO MAINLY
THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND THURSDAY NIGHT. AT LEAST IF THIS DOES OCCUR
IT APPEARS THAT IT WILL BE A MUCH BRIEFER EVENT THAN THE PAST ONE.
